Company Policy

Clear expectations. No surprises. Just honest, quality work.

We believe in keeping things simple, respectful, and fair—for both our crew and our clients. Here’s a quick rundown of how we operate so everyone’s on the same page from day one.

Weather and Rain Delays

A few things to know about rainy days:

If it rains, we usually have to delay work by a full day. That can shift the rest of our week around as we adjust.

We won’t mow the morning after it rains—the ground is still too soft, and our equipment is heavy. We don’t want to leave ruts or tire tracks across your lawn.

If it rains most of the week, your weekly mow may turn into a biweekly mow. In those cases, we apply a $5 fee to help cover the extra time and grass we’ll be collecting. (We know that’s not your fault—it’s just a small part of the cost difference, and we think that’s a fair middle ground.)

A few things to know about extreme heat:

When temperatures reach extreme highs—typically in late July through early August—we may delay mowing for the safety of our crew. These heat waves usually last 1–2 weeks, with temps soaring into the high 90s and 100s.

Remember: our team isn’t outside for just 30 minutes—we’re working in that heat 8–10 hours a day. During these times, weekly mows may temporarily shift to biweekly to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Estimate's and Payment's

Estimates are free. No pressure, no hassle.

For larger jobs, we may require a deposit to hold your spot and cover materials.

Final payment is due upon completion unless we’ve worked out a different plan.

We accept card, cash, checks, and most digital payments (Venmo, Zelle, etc.).

Late payments may be subject to a small fee—we’ll give you a heads-up first.

Materials and Design Changes

If a plant, or product you wanted isn’t available, we’ll recommend a solid alternative that fits your look and budget.

Changed your mind mid-project? No problem—we’ll chat through any adjustments and let you know if there’s a change in pricing or timeline.

Access and Safety

Please make sure we have clear access to the work area on the scheduled day. If you have pets, fences, or gates, just let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Underground stuff: We’ll always do our best to avoid utilities, but it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to mark or notify us of any underground lines, cables, or irrigation systems.

Work Guarantee

We stand by our work and want you to love the final result. If there’s an issue with something we installed, reach out within 12 months and we’ll make it right.

Photos and Project Sharing

We love showing off our work and may take photos of finished projects for our website or social media. If you'd rather keep it private, just let us know—we totally respect that.

By working with TGM Landscaping, you're agreeing to these simple policies. Nothing sneaky, just good business. If you ever have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.
